IRYS'S list
The following list contains links to various websites and resources that have helped me greatly. I will try to keep it updated, but if any of the following links are broken/misleading/dead, don't hesistate to reach me out, if you're reading this you probably know where to find me anyways. The links will be split into categories of GENERAL, MOVIES & SHOWS, GAMES, BOOKS, and MISC., in no particular order.
I'm planning on updating this site as time goes on.
LAST UPDATE: 2 MARCH 2023
GENERAL RESOURCES
- Reddit r/Piracy megathread - a ton of great, useful resources, far far beyond what I have on this site. As of writing this it's not being updated anymore, but I still personally reccomend it.
- FREEMEDIAHECKYEAH Wiki - another subreddit full of great resources for free media, including but not limited to piracy.
- The Internet Archive - The Archive isn't really focused on pirated content, as much as it simply, as the name suggests, an archive, however it is still an incredible resource holding incredible amounts of data, digitalized books, audiobooks, games, movies, all avaible online to rent and/or download. It's really good for abandonware, I got disc images for The Creatures 2 and The Sims 2 from there ♥ They're also the people behind the Wayback Machine, so you know they're very cool
- Anime Index - Contains a lot of information not only on where to obtain anime and manga related media, but also on general digtal piracy as well. Never really used it myself but heard a lot of great opinions about it.
- Youtube ReVanced - A successor to Youtube Vanced, who died to a cease-and-desist from Google in March. Pretty much Youtube Premium without paying, with some extra quality-of-life improvements such as SponsorBlock. Still in beta, and Android-only (obviously) but so far I've been pretty satisifed using it.
- Chomikuj - HONORABLE MENTION, defunct as a pirating website since the recent verdict of the Polish court, but forever in my heart as the site that taught me how to do it ♥
MOVIES & SHOWS
- Putlocker - often includes rather new releases (although of a dubious quality), pretty much every movie or show I've felt like watching so far, I could find it there.
- WatchCartoonsOnline - Cartoons, cartoon movies, and anime.
BOOKS
- Z-library - CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE. Seized by the feds because BookTok couldn't keep its mouth shut.
- Library Genesis - Library Genesis is more science focused, but you can still find fiction books in there. Good for finding papers and articles.
- SciHub - THE portal that removes the barriers to science, allowing for free downloads of MILLIONS of scientific articles.
- Project Gutenberg - Over 60 000 free E-books.
GAMES
- Vimm's Lair - A perfect place for enthusiasts of console games (myself included), offering ROMs of games throughout the years, along with emulators. A bit sluggish with the download speed and connection quality, but the amount of avaible ROMs on the site surely makes up for that.
- FitGirl Repacks - Great for downloading modern games, even the latest releases. FitGirl is also very keen on compression technology, so the downloads are always much lighter in size that they would be otherwise.
- Anadius's Sims 4 Updater - A reliable way to get the Sims 4, and have it updated, for free. The updater gets the DLCs and updates out just mere hours after they come out on the official launcher.
- The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection - Download for the Sims 2, with all DLC. I suggest donwloading it from a torrrent if you can for a decent download speed.
- SteamUnlocked - Unlocked Steam games. Always check the comments for virus warnings.
- WiiU USB Helper - Download WiiU games directly from the eShop servers. The program will ask you for a title key site, enter vault.titlekeys.ovh into to the prompt.
- r/Roms Megathread - a database of video game ROMs, along with specific guides for emulators and consoles.
